When every source gives you a different answer, even simple moon magick can become confusing.

You may already understand the basics: set intentions as the moon grows, release as it wanes, and make moon water beneath the Full Moon.
Then the questions begin.
Should you work during the dark New Moon or wait for the first crescent? What does the Waxing Gibbous actually support? Does the moon sign matter? What happens if clouds, exhaustion, children, pets, or ordinary life interrupt the ritual?
Before long, you have saved dozens of phase charts, correspondences, and spell ideas... but still hesitate when it is time to practice.
What you need is a clear path from understanding the moon to doing something meaningful with what you learn.

Mooncraft gathers the foundation, context, ritual instruction, and practical tools into one place, so you can stop circling the information and begin working with it.

Understand what each phase supports, and why.

Know when to build, refine, release, or rest.

Adapt the practice without losing its meaning.

Develop your own experience of the lunar cycle.
Move from collecting moon magick... to building a practice.

Mooncraft helps you understand what the moon is doing, what that phase supports, and how to turn that knowledge into a working you can perform with clarity.
You will learn how to:

read the rhythm of the lunar cycle without memorizing endless correspondences

choose timing that supports your intention

understand the reasoning behind the ritual instead of copying instructions blindly

adapt practices to your home, energy, tools, and experience

notice your own patterns and develop a relationship with the moon that grows through use
The result is a lunar practice you can return to month after month: one that feels grounded, personal, and alive.

Understand the current
Learn the phases, moon signs, eclipses, folk traditions, and symbolic language behind lunar practice.

Choose the work
Use that foundation to select spells, rituals, tools, and timing that fit what you are actually trying to do.

Make it your own
Record what you notice, track your patterns, refine, and build a working grimoire from lived experience.

You do not have to know everything before you begin.
You need a clear place to start... and enough guidance to keep going.
A complete path from understanding the moon to living the practice.
Mooncraft is designed to be read through once and returned to often. Across 11 chapters, it moves from the language of the lunar cycle into practical spellwork, ritual, tools, and the ongoing work of building a path that belongs to you.

Read the lunar current
Go beyond one-line correspondences and understand what the moon is doing.
Explore the eight lunar phases, waxing and waning energy, folk beliefs surrounding the moon, zodiac signs, eclipses, and the ways each current can shape your timing and intention.

Bring lunar magick into your home
Learn how to make and use moon water and lunar elixirs, create an altar that suits your space, and work with practical ritual tools.
You will also learn how to cleanse, consecrate, charge, adapt, and care for the objects you bring into your craft.

Cast with purpose across the cycle
Put the foundation into practice through lunar spells, candle work, charms, talismans, divination, and workings timed to different phases.
You will also find longer practices that unfold across the full cycle, allowing an intention to grow, shift, and deepen over time.

Build a living lunar path
Explore relationships with lunar deities if that path calls to you, and learn how to carry lunar practice beyond formal ritual.
Mooncraft also includes support for difficult or low-energy months, answers to common questions, and historical notes for approaching the craft with greater context and discernment.

Begin at the beginning, open to the phase you are living through...
or return whenever a working, question, or season brings you back.
Your lunar practice can live inside the life you already have.
Mooncraft was written for real homes, imperfect schedules, changing energy, and witches who may not have a private ritual room or an overflowing cabinet of specialized tools.
You do not need to perform a working for every phase, own an elaborate altar, or follow instructions that make no sense for your space. When smoke, flame, location, materials, children, animals, health, or ordinary life change what is possible, the guide helps you preserve the meaning of the work while adapting its form.

Clear enough to use
Techniques are explained from the foundation upward, so you understand what you are doing and why... not merely which candle to light. From basics to deeper questions of lunar practice without requiring perfection.

Adaptable without becoming empty
A drawn crossroads can replace an unsafe journey. Sound, water, breath, or an unlit candle can replace smoke or flame. The form may change while the intention remains intact.

Honest about old and new
Mooncraft brings folklore, modern witchcraft, astrology, personal practice, and historical context together without presenting every familiar modern custom as ancient or universal.

The goal is not to become a perfect moon witch.
It is to become a practicing one.

INCLUDED WITH MOONCRAFT
Bring the teachings off the page and onto your working table.
Alongside the main grimoire, you will receive the separate 63-page Mooncraft Printable Magick Companion: a collection of references, trackers, ritual worksheets, tarot spreads, cards, and labels designed to be printed, written on, and used.
Consult a quick-reference sheet when you need direction tonight. Record a spell while the details are fresh. Track several cycles to discover your personal lunar rhythm. Print only the pages that serve the work in front of you.

What’s Inside

Quick references for the working witch: Moon phases, moon signs, lunar correspondences, archetypes, offerings, affirmation cards, and guidance for special moons.

Trackers for noticing your patterns: A monthly lunar roadmap, monthly moon tracker, personal pattern tracker, and full lunar-cycle tracker.

Worksheets for ritual and spellcraft: New Moon intention setting, Full Moon release, spell records, a Witch’s Ladder planning guide, and a Three-Moon scrying record.

Divination tools: Dedicated New Moon and Full Moon tarot spreads, quick three-card readings, and journaling prompts for the phases.

Practical pages for your lunar apothecary: Moon water labels, lunar elixir labels, and a page for recording your own elixir recipes.

Keep the pages in a binder. Pin a reference beside your altar. Fold one into your pocket.
Let the trackers gather notes, crossed-out words, candle wax, and the evidence of a practice being lived.
This is where the reading gives way to practice.
A FEW OF THE PRACTICES INSIDE
Begin simply... or carry one intention through an entire lunar cycle.
Some workings in Mooncraft can be completed with a bowl of water, a familiar object, and one clear intention. Others ask you to return over several phases, tending the work as the moon changes overhead.
Each practice explains what it is for, why its timing matters, what you will need, and how to carry it out.

Silver Water Prosperity Wash
A practical Full Moon working for opportunity and tangible prosperity
Place a silver coin beneath clean water and allow the Full Moon to illuminate both. The following morning, the water becomes a ritual wash for the hands that earn, build, make, and receive... while the coin is carried as a drawing charm through the rest of the cycle.
Simple materials. Clear symbolism. A working designed to connect magick with the physical work through which prosperity arrives.

The Full Lunar Cycle Working
One intention tended through all eight moon phases
Choose a meaningful intention and give it a physical home: a planted seed, candle, jar, or small pouch.
Across 29 days, you return at each phase to plant, act, confront resistance, refine, claim, give thanks, release, and finally surrender the outcome. Mundane action is built directly into the spell, because the work in the world and the work at the altar belong together.

The Threshold Protection
Layered folk protection built into the home
Beginning at the Last Quarter and continuing into the New Moon, this working guides you through four stages of household protection: clearing the space, laying protective salt, placing iron at the threshold, and sealing the work with a spoken ward.
It is rooted in the understanding that a protected home is something a witch tends... not something she declares once and forgets.

Some nights call for one small act. Some intentions deserve a full month of attention.
Mooncraft gives you practices for both... and helps you understand
which kind of work the moment asks for.

IS MOONCRAFT RIGHT FOR YOU?
Be honest with yourself. This section will be, too.
Mooncraft was written for you if…

You are new to moon magick and want a clear foundation before attempting spells and rituals.

You already know the basic correspondences, but still feel unsure about timing, moon signs, eclipses, or what to do beyond the New and Full Moons.

You want practical instruction with context, not another collection of pretty rituals that never explains why they work.

You are drawn to both folk practice and modern witchcraft and want to understand where they meet, where they differ, and how to work with both honestly.

You need a practice that can live in a real home, around limited time, changing energy, shared spaces, children, animals, and ordinary responsibilities.

You want guidance without dependence, a foundation that helps you develop your own observations, methods, and working relationship with the moon.
Mooncraft may not be the right fit if…

You only want a brief list of correspondences without deeper explanation.

You are looking for guaranteed manifestations or promises of instant results.

You want a rigid doctrine that tells you exactly what to believe.

You want someone to do the practice for you. This is a working grimoire: it asks you to show up (even imperfectly) and use it.

You prefer aesthetic inspiration without the work of observing and adapting.

You may arrive as a complete beginner, a curious seeker, or a practicing witch
who wants to deepen the lunar side of your craft. Begin where you are, work with what you have,
and allow your practice to grow through experience.
THE STORY BEHIND MOONCRAFT
Mooncraft began with a messy book of recipes.

Long before I called myself a witch, I kept returning to the house of a woman at the end of my street.
The neighbors called her esa vieja bruja... usually in a whisper, rarely with kindness. But the people who came to her back door carrying grief, illness, bad luck, or questions called her Madrina.
Her name was Carmen.
Her house held jars, herbs, bowls of seeds and grains, smoke, offerings, and a chaotic handwritten book she simply called her book of recipes. Its pages were filled with clippings, pressed plants, remedies, workings, and notes on the moon. Over time, she allowed me to copy a few of its safer pages by hand.
When Carmen died, her family discarded much of what she had left behind. I rescued that book... but for years, without her there to guide me, I could not bring myself to open it.
Then I needed the work to become real.

In my twenties, a small printing business I had started was struggling. We had worked hard, tried the practical solutions available to us, and were running out of momentum.
Someone suggested timing our next promotion with the Full Moon.
That suggestion brought Carmen’s notes back to me.
Then...
I did not perform an elaborate ceremony. I followed the practical lunar timing and carried out a simple Full Moon working for the business. It did not transform everything overnight... but the stagnation began to move, new clients appeared, and I remembered what Carmen’s practice had always understood:
Witchcraft is not only something you study. It is something you use.
Since then, I have worked with lunar cycles through projects, habits, relationships, grief, and periods of profound change. Mooncraft grew from that lived practice.
This is not Carmen’s recipe book rewritten.

The spells and teachings inside Mooncraft are my own work, shaped by folk traditions, modern witchcraft, historical study, personal experience, and the accumulated knowledge of practitioners who adapted what they had to the lives in front of them.
I created this guide to give you more than instructions to copy.
I want you to understand the logic beneath the work... to know how to look at the moon, consider what you need, use what you have, and create a practice that becomes more personal and confident with time.

You are not only learning a tradition.
You are becoming part of its continuation.

A few practical questions about Mooncraft
Yes.
The guide begins with the foundations of lunar practice and explains the phases, timing, tools, rituals, and spellwork from the ground up. You do not need previous experience, a coven, or an established practice.
No.
Mooncraft is not tied to one religion or initiatory path. It brings together folk traditions, modern witchcraft, historical context, and personal practice while leaving room for your own beliefs.
No.
Many practices use ordinary materials such as water, candles, salt, herbs, paper, thread, bowls, coins, and household objects. You can also create a small, portable, shared, or temporary lunar altar.
Where a traditional method is unsafe or unsuitable, Mooncraft offers ways to adapt the form while preserving the meaning of the work.
Absolutely not.
You may work closely with the entire cycle, choose only the New and Full Moons, or return to the guide whenever a specific intention calls for lunar timing.
Mooncraft is a resource, not another list of obligations.
No honest witch, or book, can guarantee that.
Mooncraft gives you clear practices, supportive timing, symbolism, and ways to pair magickal work with practical action. Your circumstances, choices, consistency, and the nature of the working all matter.
The purpose is to help you practice with greater clarity and confidence, not to promise control over every outcome.
